George, also found this shameful story about my town that you, as an archaeologist would find of interest:

Man, the city council here would sell its children if there were a way to profit off of it. ::facepalm::

Thanks, I will forward the info.....we have a guy who is "kind of a Big Deal" for Native Americans

Would love to see this stopped. I swear, if there is a square foot of land in Orange County that is not developed yet, just count to ten and there will be surveyors on it by the time you reach 3. The Bolsa Chica Wetlands have been a favorite cause of mine in Huntington Beach. Probably one of the two or three most used "waystations" for southerly migrating birds on the entire West Coast, and developers have been trying to pave it over for housing since the 1970's!

The city of Orange is only about 15 miles from me, I would guess. Sorry to hear of his passing; was it recently?

I have an HP8250.. They got me one for at work $(850) and since I like it so well, I went to "Geeks.com" and got a refurbished on for $70..

Definately a plus having the slide/negative capability...

I picked up some original Star Wars Slides a couple of years ago off EBAY, and having that capability helps..

Gotta love going to a show, about to leave and someone tells you they're really interested in a couple of cards. YOu make them a good deal on one, the other, and or both only for them to stare at them thinking for @ an hour. Then saying I just don't have the money. ::facepalm::
