Dave, I read somewhere that The Call of the Wild is one of the books with the most editions ever made in something like 20 different languages, too. :eek:

Good question.

I was a huge fan of his when he played at Fresno State and hoped he would have a great NFL career. Sadly, that did not happen. However, now his cards are incredibly cheap. I got all the ones shown for less than $25. :shock:

My grandpa grew up in Pennsylvania, then moved to West Virginia. His uncle used to work as a trainman and actually got to know Honus Wagner well. Wagner had a dry goods store after he retired and used to talk with him at the end of the days run. :)

very cool. Wagner also worked as a baseball and basketball coach at Carnegie Tech which is now Carnegie Mellon University (aka my work :mrgreen: ).
