Good day all.

Went too the football game last night. #1 team in DII came to play. They beat us very bad. It also didn't help that our QB got injured right as he was finding his groove.

Overall it was very fun. We have a beautiful stadium, and I got tickets first row right on the 50.

The bad part was it was 36 degrees out, which isn't terribly cold, but my shoes have holes in them and the floor is metal, so I could barely feel my feet at the end of the game. It's time for new shoes I guess.

Went to the card show in New Orleans today and it was different than I remember shows being. The promoter had about 15 of the 30 tables there and he had the majority of the good cards. I only bought a few Dawson commons from anyone else there. No one had supplies for sale which I thought was odd. I always had supplies for sale when I went to shows and I was looking for some top loaders and maybe some one touches, but not a big deal. I picked these Dawson's up that I did not have minus the rookie.



I won the first door prize which was $25 in table money and used it to pick these up which I already had, but you know I like doubles lol.



I bought a box of Allen and Ginter and these were my hits



Bought a blaster box of Prizm before and after the show at two different Wal Marts. Pulled a Puig, some Eithers, a blue prizm if that Royal player whose name is like moose. Sorry I don't have these boxes in front of me lol. A total of 7 blues and 2 greens from those two boxes.

And finally, my sons interest in cards just started at the show where I recently met Adam at and he had not decided what to collect yet so he has just been collecting Cubs cards. He discovered today what he wants to collect, Drew Brees. A little disappointed it is not anything baseball but so happy he found something he wants to collect. He reminded me of me when I was young when he was going through the show today so happy looking at Brees cards. Of course this after I bought the box of A&G for him to rip lol. Here is the start of his Brees collection with a jersey and manufactured logo card.



Had an awesome day with my boy and my dad and had to rush home so I could play in my disc golf tournament that I paid the entry fee for a month ago before I knew I was going to the card show.
