My Salvation Army had SLUs for $14.99. And I'm talking mid 90s commons. Sheesh.
This one wasn't even close to that, and it's available

Now, I have been hesitant to add the word "vintage" to my listings. Should I add it? Do you get more traffic adding it? To me its like sellers adding the word "rare" to a base card listing. Thoughts?
Not a thrift store purchase but inspired by this thread. I just moved into a new house in May. Neighbor has an old barn. She was giving me a tour and there was a baseball bag full of bats, jock strap, cup, cleats etc. I commented on the bag being out of place and she said it belonged to her ex son on law and had been there about ten years. She offered the bag to me and I tried to decline but she was insistent that she wanted it out of there. I checked ebay and a couple of the bats sell for a few bucks. Listed the first two and they sold for $25 and $15. Still have about eight more to list. I'll be taking good care of my neighbor for sure! I think she has a nice bottle of wine in her future!

Dont want to clog the thread with images but if you want to check it out I've got most of it listed here http://www.ebay.com/sch/topprospectalert/m.html?item=390763905627&ssPageName=STRK%3AMESELX%3AIT&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562 Planning to hit some more stores tomorrow. Hopefully some more hits.
Had a cool antique store find yesterday in Kentucky.
It's a WW1 era bat by Louisville Slugger that is stamped by the YMCA. Apparently, these were sent to the servicemen overseas during WW1 and never made available to the general public. Found only one other one sold on Worthpoint for just over $100. I got mine for around $35.
Googled the Bama jersey and came up with a name of Sean Keeler? I don't know for sure though.
Either way, it's cool.
