can't say that I disagree with this....The U does put out tons of NFL Talent....though I don't understand why the LB position was a draw....correct me if I'm wrong (or if I'm being a homer ::facepalm:: ) but I think USC has had way more talent at that position....congrats to The U!!!

:D Can't say I find anything to disagree with.

I may be being a homer too when I say LB leans towards The U because of Lewis, Barrow, Vilma, Beason, Morgan, Armstead, DJ Williams, McIntosh, Gooden, and a few I'm sure I'm forgetting. You could make up both sides of the Pro Bowl LBs with guys who played at The U. Although I must admit that the 09 Draft Class of USC LBs could very well shift the tide.

USC is definitely a close #2 though.

that was my thinking as well....4 LB's from USC drafted in 09 and all 4 started...add that to the list of others who play(ed) in the league and I thought it was USC who should have taken the LB position....hats off to The U though...I believe they deserve it....USC's 71 1st Round Picks means nothing but a whole lot of BUSTS in my opinion

I've done a few pipeline-type Madden Rosters with friends (OSU, what) and here's the thing:

When was the last time that Miami produced a quarterback? Friends were scrambling for the Madden update to include Vinny Testaverde w/ the Panthers? because the QB pool was just that thin.

Miami gets fast Florida kids and not much else.

QB is about the only position Miami hasn't really produced in. Their "fast Florida kids and not much else" sure do seem to dominate on the pro level though in most positions. There's been a pro bowler from The U in just about ever position at least once in the past 10 years.
