Yeah I was just making a general statement about current players when I answered. Looking on SCN he signed a wopping 2 times TTM during spring this year.

I wouldn't count on McGwire, but he just got hired by the Cardinals so that could be your best shot.

Besides a handful of guys that sign for a charitable donation (Helton, Dawson, Ripken, Ryan off the top of my head), most stars of the past 15 or so years just don't sign. I think it's a trend that will only worsen in coming years.
