I told you guys last week in another thread... Bg

Ps- my durant sticker rookie autos don't look so bad all the sudden
Hence my wish for just giving the poor soul who opens this product a sticker to do anything else with.

And I don't mind the Durant usage at all.

Heavy on usa autos, both from yearly sets & possibly the 2004 alumni issue. Heck, might even see stras, bryce & dickey.

UD tweeted that there are NO redemptions in this product.

Carry on with your slamming of the product.

Ok, so your justification for quality is secondary market price? Should we now interject your train of thought in to Razor? Metal? Valiant?? Or is it only valid when trying to prove a point? None the less, MANY hobbyists did not like the frankenstien cards you homebrewed and the fact that this Durant RC auto concoction is only selling for $150 or so proves this. If it were a widely accepted form of collectable it stands to reason it would be a $1000+ card based on popularity/rarity, ect...

Lets try to stay on topic and not bash BG for a change ;). He's a stand up guy that is willing to share his thoughts on the hobby and while many people may not like his products he definitely puts a lot of time and effort into everything (mostly on-card, etc). I won't carry on because then I will only be defeating my own point of staying on topic.

As for this UD garbage I don't know what I am more shocked at. The fact that the cards are so unappealing or the fact that people might actually be shelling out $255+ for 9 autos to a box!?

I think BG opened himself to a bashing with his mature and professional comments.

Yes, the product does look terrible though. WOOF!

Of course there are no redemptions, it's a sticker dump product. They just make cards at their local Kinkos for whatever stickers they have lying around. I like the idea of just inserting the raw stickers. Heck a build it yourself auto kit would be awesome. Include the some chrome cards and some raw stickers and let people have at it.

I wonder if there will be any issues with the Griffey Jr. signatures included in the product now that he's a Topps guy.

They are selling becasue there are a lot of people that don't know every card/release. Doesn't help that PSA is slabbing them so as to make them easy to sell to people who don't know what you did. Like previously noted, they should be 5 times that.

Kind of interesting that you would take the time in your day to bash UD while using your example of sticking stickers bought from one company, affixed to cards from yet another company, and then packaged in your own product. :|

Perhaps BG should worry about his own products. Heck, you couldn't even spell Andrew Luck's name right. Then you decide to spell Inscriptions, "Insriptions" .

Sure, this product looks like crap, but hey, at least they can spell and don't have to worry about mooching off of somebody's elses work to make a buck.

At least Upper Deck created their own name rather than buying a name with 60 years of history behind it.

Were they all released as "Insriptions"?
