Baseball cards should not be doing this.

I won't even buy a Bowedman Chrome pack anymore because it's been so bad. A buddy of mine picked up a retail box of 2010 Topps Chrome ($71 from Wal Mart), and not a single card was straight. It's horrendous, and you should be able to go after them for your money back for selling a faulty product. That's not even counting the lines in the refractors, the horrible off centering, and little dimples in some of the cards. Oh, and the white powder. I understand some things slip by QC...but there is a line.

If you put them in a stack and put them under something heavy enough for a long enough period of time, they'll flatten right out for you. Granted, it may not be as nice as getting them like that straight out of the pack but at least this cosmetic issue is somewhat fixable. Beats bad centering in my book.

The cards are awful this year. I put together the Heritage high set (101-150), and it the curling is just brutal.

Hmm...with just a couple pieces of tape and almost no effort, you could make yourself some chrome beer can cozies.

I agree I hate how these are like this. I put them into toploaders right away and that does straighten them up a little over time. Sucks to pay a dollar card and they are curved..

CardMagnet- your friend who got the retail box from wally world did he pull anything good? I have always been scared to buy those when i can buy a hobby box for less.. I never seem to pull much out of retail but have been curious about the 71 dollar boxes at wally world

Nothing good. From memory, it was two purples, some Xs and regular refractors, and a Chicle refractor. No auto, and no refractors better than purple. It was horrible to watch, especially since he's not big into cards.

Depending on how bored I get this afternoon I may set up a Bowman / Topps Chrome Domino Rally around the house. I didn't really open enough product to make one too terribly impressive. Maybe once Brent is done shipping he can set one up.

Putting these cards in toploaders is like trying to put the dog in the bathtub.

I've tried that trick 100 times but my best effort has only resulted in my twig and one berry....or both berries without the twig but all three at the same time is darn near impossible!

You've gotta practice with a gym sock and then work progressively downwards.

All my gym socks are crusty from dried out knuckle children and buried in the bottom of the dirty laundry pile to hide my shame.

Somehow, even I know when it's gone too far.
