Russ Ortiz, upgrade from a Minor League card, obtained in a Private Signing

Chris Jones, upgraded from an Index Card, via TTM.

Also included a cool letter.

To explain this, I don't add custom backs until after a card is signed (saves money)

Two updates in two days, it feels like when I first started this project again!

Jerry Goff via TTM. I sent this request FOUR YEARS AGO! The image is a still frame from a video of him hitting a homerun. It may be the only image of him with the Astros.

Knocked a need off of my list.

This goes off of the needs list and immediately onto the Upgrade Needed list. He does have an Astros card, but I've never seen it signed.

Huge upgrade in today. This is only the second copy of this card I have ever seen signed. Set me back more than I really wanted to pay, but it came out beautifully. This upgrades from an Index Card.

Nice. That is a card I would have picked up just for the action shot, as those were still somewhat rare even in the 1980 set. I never realized how tough he was though until I really started looking for certain autos.

One step forward, two steps back. I already had this Pedro Leon ready for his debut. Unfortunately, Yusei Kikuchi and Caleb Ferguson both also made debuts and put my needs back at 30.

Three steps forward (two of them baby steps) and one step back.

With the debut of Zach Dezenzo this week, I add one to the needs list. I also marked off three, but two are Minor League cards that will need to be updated.

Matt Gage. I also have this card signed by Salazar, but hoping I can get each signed by the other.

Christian Vazquez minor league card. He's a willing signer but for some reason is hesitant to sign Astros cards, even though he won a WS with us. They do exist though, because I've seen one.

Yusei Kikuchi. I grabbed this one just in case he ends up going back to Japan and disappears before an Astros card is made.

Gamel was a very good singer when he was with Syracuse, unfortunately I didn’t have his Syracuse card then to get signed, but I think I have him on 3 others…will still have to get the Syracuse one signed due to it being his only Mets related card I know of
