CAPS TRAINING CAMP!!!!!!
Let's start off the some warm ups, then we'll go 3 stars!
Not shown.. Dave Steckel signed SPA RC /1999, Michael Nylander signed UD base, Hershey Bears program signed by Jay Beagle, Chris Bourque, Oskar Osala & Keith Aucoin.
Now for some picture worthy warmups (not that the others weren't, the scanner just wasn't available so I had to stick with the camera)
And yes, compared to the 3 stars, these are nothing..
I also was lucky enough to get a practice puck I also had him sign in silver but for some reason my camera isn't puck-friendly and the pic didn't come out so that remains unpictured.
Some guy named Semin.
and folks, it's 3 stars time.
3rd star.
This guy did pretty good for us last year. And personally, I think this pic is just perfection to get signed. Next time, I'm getting this printed 8x10 style and framed.
Semyon Varlamov.
2nd star.
I apologize this isn't hockey but it's worth 2nd star. Went to the O's game last night after camp. There were only about 8-9k people at the game. There was a long rain delay, it was cold, I got completely soaked which wasn't fun. We gave up our 1 run lead in the 9th... but Matt Wieters had other thoughts about going into extras and belted a 2 run home run in the bottom half to win..
Sorry I got a little off topic there.. I got this before the game.
Incase you're not familiar with baseball, that's Evan Longoria. All-Star Superslugger Evan Longoria that is. (Not to be confused with someone else who shares a simliar name
)
And you're wondering what can top all of this, eh? Why is my favorite player the first to get shown and not last? How is it possible? well... take a look at the title and tell me what number appears in it and what ever-so-famous athlete wears it.
Some guy named Ovechkin.
(I was hoping to get him to sign it in Silver on the number, but he was in a rush, grabbed 1 sharpie and signed everything with it... but I'm not complaining.)
So I finally got it. Alex Ovechkin's autograph. I'm still shaking. Enjoy and may the rest of you have my luck at your local training camps.
