Awesome, congratulations! I put together the Billingsley from a couple of years ago. It was only his last name and it was still hard so this is a big accomplishment. Congrats again.

That is amazing, needed a slide rule to count the letters.....

Glad my Papelbon is just P-A-P-E-L-B-O-N

and not "Jonathan Papelbon Boston Red Sox Fruitcake"

Thanks a lot guys. It's nice to be able to show off accomplishments in collecting to people who care about cards. Most of the people I know think it's dumb to collect cards and the rest would be indifferent. I really appreciate the kind words from everyone.

LLWesMan: I hadn't really thought about it, but it definitely would look awesome. I'd just worry about the cost of custom framing and the size it would take up.

trolea1234: It can be a pain tracking them all down, but it's definitely rewarding putting it all together. I say go for the Pence even if you take your time with it.

markakis8: I can't imagine going for the set if they were all SP'd to 15 like Roberts. That would have been pretty impressive to finish.

Bigfan5: I'm just an S away from finishing the 06 Billingsley set. Unfortunately the only ones on ebay are ridiculously overpriced. Your 06 set is awesome though, and those Sweet Beginnings patches are great.

Resident Piazza Fan: Yours is awesome. Being out of 25 makes it tougher too. I hope Bay lights it up for the Sox this year.

MaineMule: Just wait for 09 SPA. I think UD is going to do first, middle, and last names, city, team name, position, month of birth, and street address for each player.

imac220: I've been picking them up since release date (I think mid October). I actually finished quicker than anticipated seeing as I just finished my 07 Hanley set a few months ago.

Heck, they probably said it shouldn't be done. I did it anyway. I'm extremely happy to present the 2008 SP Authentic Chad Billingsley By The Letter Set!

Very nice! I only lack the letter "P" for "Matt Kemp" and I am slowly working on "Los Angeles Dodgers" right now. I've been buying other Kemp cards for my PC and haven't purchased these yet.

One of the problems I have run into is that the letters used more often are short-printed, like "S" is /25 and so is "E". Makes it a little challenging.

Congrats on the AMAZING set!

The coolest part about it for me is that, not kidding, I sold you the E on the top row!

xcantgobackx: I'll have my Hanley set from 07 scanned in a few days to show off. That one is Ramirez Florida Marlins.

Geez, I might have to take mine down after that! That's awesome. I actually just like the look of the 06 letters over the 07's. That's the main reason I went for them. Congrats on that set though. Can't wait to see it!
