Ricardo Liborio and Alves confirmed there were some irregularities with his CT scan so he wont be medically cleared to fight.

Man, this sucks!
By far, one of the nicest fighters I have ever met. Hopefully, this is just a cautionary thing and nothing career ending.

Ben Saunders is stepping in for Alves leaving Jake Ellenberger w/o an opponant.

Glad Ellenburger's getting a fight and win paycheck.
I am also glad that Jon Fitch is getting to fight on the main card still after being pulled. Big step up in competition for Killa B though. But Fitch is one of my favs so it's great to see him being able to fight.
Seems like Fitch always gets the short end of the stick. He did at UFC 100 and he was going to here after Alves dropping out.
But Dana said the CT scan may have been a mistake, so that's great to hear.

Alves saw THREE different doctors, all of which were concerned. That isn't a great sign that it's a mistake, but the optimism comes from him being able to see the best specialist(s) in the country.
