8 pages, and these weren't mentioned, so i thought I'd pile on:

1. People who post in multiple-page threads and don't bother to read the whole discussion; thus reposting some point that has already been brought up or reagitating a situation.

2. The use of "frak," "shat," and their derivations. Look, i don't mind the substitution when you're relating a story or quote that used the actual word; but to use those words b/c you like to swear but can't seems totally pointless. It also makes you seem like you've been neutered. Bottom line: I LOVE to swear, but I know i CAN'T do it here, shouldn't do it here; and if i can't do it right, i don't want to look silly trying.

3. People who look for opinions on what they bought. These threads usually never end well WHEN: someone tells the OP that "you over-paid." The threads usually devolves into someone telling the responder "geez, do you have to be such a D-bag," the OP's feelings getting hurt, people attacking the responder for being insensitive, people sticking up for the guy, saying he's entitled to his opinion, blah, blah, blah. Too many people are too senstitive for the opinions of people here, apparently...

Now, these are things that annoy me. If i don't like something, i can ignore it; so I'm not looking to police or end these things like some dictator.

PS: after I type a post like this, it's "select all"-"ctrl+c" to ensure I can recoup it. I learned this on BMB, and I'll echo earlier posts.

While some may use "Frak" to avoid swear filters, it isn't necessarily the reason they are using it. A lot of my friends use this in normal conversation thanks to the influence of Battlestar Galactica.

Threads about things that annoy you on a message board bother me immensly.

Lol, I'm very disappointed it took 9 pages for that response though. I figured it would have been page 1 material. Oh well, better late than never!

1. People who go into a thread just to make a negative post about it. If it's something that you do not want to read, don't click on it.

2. People who express negative opinions about others' collecting habits. If you don't like prospects or vintage or whatever else, fine. To each his own...

I said Quilty, LOL. that's a bad sign...my brain is going. GUILTY dang it. I've done it before.

No, no email and I didn't call them, I doubt they were open today...plus I didn't get up until 1pm and then had to watch my 'Cats play Vandy. :D Last email he said, "We'll work something out." So I don't know. Maybe he's number crunching.

as far as the converstion of this thread. I'm not really bothered by anyhting that takes place here so far. I believe in being nice to people until they give me a reason not to...and "I'm not Jesus, I will not forgive."

I get annoyed by large ammounts of the same smilie. ( :D :D :D :D :D :D ) One is enough. I also sometimes get annoyed by the younger people on the board. Even though I'm a kid too, I can see why others get annoyed. A lot of times I see kids posting things they might think are funny. I find them stupid. I read them and I think, " Other people reading this must think kids these days are idiots." Well, most are. I try to keep the post count down because I bet I'd be annoyed of myself if I posted a bunch like some others. And on the topic of swearing. Words are words. Kids hear "bad" words all the time. They don't get filtered out in the real world. Besides, we know what you meant to say. Just because it says "frak" or "shat" (or whatever the filtered words are), doesn't mean that the people reading it won't know they were swearing.

PS - I was eating an enchilada while typing that, so I tried to hurry so it wouldn't get cold. There is a good chance that what I just said was a rambbling bunch of non-sense.

I could go on for hours about this.

1. Overly secretive prospectors. Guys who refer to players as "my guy." Look, we get it. If you publicly name him you think that you're influential enough that people will actually give a damn and go out and drive the prices up. You're dead wrong. No one cares nor bases their purchasing decisions on you. Don't be a ******.

2. Along the same lines, elitist prospectors. Guys who think people who don't like prospecting hate it because they don't understand it. Dead wrong. Anyone with an education higher than 6th grade understands what supply vs demand and buy low/sell high is. Some people, gasp, don't give a damn about prospecting. Not naming names, but anyone who refers to prospecting as "the game" is a complete turd

3. KevinNYYLundqvistfan

4. Guys who act like they're in 7th grade and they just saw a Playboy for the first time whenever someone posts a picture of an attractive female. People, this is the 21st century. We have **** on demand, the internet, etc. I'm sure this isn't the first time you've ever seen a picture of a half nude female. Stop acting like it.

5. ostrander111

6. Overuse of smileys. Ending a paragraph with one is fine. Littering a paragraph with 36 of them makes me think you were fed too many paint chips as a child

7. People who play Mr Good Guy and defend the poor innocent children against such atrocious words as "'damn" and "ass." Reality check, idiots: Most 14-15 year olds have probably already had sex, snuck in to R rated movies, looked at **** online, experimented with weed, gotten drunk, snuck out, skipped school, etc. You're ignorant if you think that shielding them from potty mouth words will somehow help them grow up a good person and shelter them from evil. Don't be stupid. Kids today have already seen and done far worse.

8. Spelling and grammar. I realize a messageboard isn't school or a job, but that's not an excuse to speak like a retard who flunked second grade. I find it extremely difficult to believe you can juggle two entirely different lingos you use when typing- professional and gramatically correct, and internet moron short hand. Odds are, you're probably just an idiot who has no grasp of the English language and you're embarrassed about it, so you use the "FCB isn't school!" excuse.

9. Raymond. Thank god he doesn't post here

10. People who start mailday threads then quote and thank every single person who says ""nice pickup!" We see what you're doing here. You're subtlely bumping your thread. Don't insult our intelligence, just say "bump"'''

98% of what goes on on message boards annoys me. Regardless, I have to tolerate some of it to get to the stuff that actually interests me. People, in general, irritate the **** out of me. But that's life, there are some pompous, know-it-all scumbags out there (and here) that think their shot doesn't stink. Best part is I am SURE they know the only reason they run their mouths the way they do is because they're online. The rest of the time I am positive they are docile little douches that eat crow all day long and cower in the men's room throughout the day.

EDIT - Oh yea...morons..adults and kids alike that failed to grasp the simplest amount of common sense during their lives...they annoy the hell out of me too.

I just found my new best friend. Number 7 did it for me. I got your back! Although I gotta tell you man, after reading number 10, you got me all self conscious about responding to people who drop comments...
