Is there a way to tell how many total members have over 50+ posts?
Would be interested to see what % of those over 50 posts are on your ignore list

I don't think its necessary to list the names but I have nothing against any of these people. I ignore the people guilty of the types of things that have annoyed people in this thread.

People posting in a thread that they dislike or do not find the topic of the thread interesting, or people complaining about other people posting threads. It's very simple, just click the next topic if you don't like this one and stop your whining.

I also dislike members who post a topic and get a reply but wait 8 hours to reply to that post.If you want to bump your topic just bump it no need for a half-assed response.

Bad spelling/grammar is my pet peeve, I just can't stand it... I mean, can't people check their shat before they submit? People that are quickly agitated, it's a message board for crying out loud... some people get far too emotional when someone has a different opinion than theirs. Yankees fans that hate on other Yankees fans, it's just so stupid to me.

Your pet peeve is grammar, and yet to this point in your post alone there are three run-on sentences. Phenomenal.

Okay, genius. The way I choose to write my sentences is a choice, not a grammatical error. For every person like you who likes to go around accusing people of bad grammar, there will be another who says the way I type my sentences is in fact, not erroneous. EXTRAORDINARY.     Tool.

Edit - I take it you have never heard of an ellipsis? Or a comma?

It's pretty much only on this board, but I don't like it when you post, and then it says "New replies have been made on this topic", and if it's a popular topic, you have to sit there all day clicking submit.

Also, I'm not a fan of "+1." I wish people would just say, "Me too", or "So did I."

1. Members who treat threads like chat rooms and make pointless two-word comments throughout a post. (MiguelCabrera)

2. Members who, trying to be friendly, derail threads by asking the original poster a personal question totally unrelated to the topic, which could have been done through PM.

3. "Is this a steal?"

4. "Who should I prospect?"

5. "I have $50. What should I buy?"

6. Attention ******.

The most annoying "thing" is people who believe they know exactly how other people should act on a message board. I'm sure everyone wants politeness most. It REALLY is ok to NOT go looking for something to complain about. All I care about is if the place is kid friendly.
( ;) Snyper and his potty mouth  )

Now, where is that ignore button?

I don't understand this big deal with grammar. It's a message board and sometimes people just type faster and don't do spell/grammer check. Go on anyother boards and see if the grammar police is out there like it is on this board. If you been on the internet long enough your messages are probably terrible as everything is abbreviated and short formed. I don't know if it is because some of the collectors are 40 plus or something and it bothers them to no end. If you understand what the message is that is trying to be conveyed then you should be fine with that, and go on with your life. Hell, in the corporate world I barely see an email that makes sense especially if you are using the blackberry to type it.

Biggest annoyance for me is the "did I get a steal " when it is obvious you did and prospectors that speak down to other people just starting out.

I'm really not trying to "start" with you, at all... but isn't there far worse things going on in this world to worry about other than a few harmless words that most people use? People swear, kids swear... it's a fact of life. It's such a non-issue. If he said it in a mean-spirited kind of way, I would be more prone to think it tasteless, but it was used to describe a type of person... no big deal in my opinion.

1. People complaining about what people write or how they act on a free public message board that is open to all ages
2. Overly defensive people that assume every general statement is only about them
3. People not understanding different value systems, senses of humor, or views and taking offense from what someone writes because of this

Hold up captain. I'm not making an issue of it. That's not my job. Please see the ;) & . The thing is, just because there may be other, bigger issues... doesn't mean you need to let smaller offenses slide. Personally, f-bombs don't bother me on a message board. Not needed though.

It's really not a big deal... just put my opinion out there. If it doesn't bother you, why did you state it isn't needed? Just messin' with you... ;)
