Sorry at work so no scan (yet) but just received it and a little curious.

It's a Triple Threads all star team logo patch card. Looks fine but the card is not flat? There is a slight bulge where the relics are.

Is that a tell tale sign I got the shaft?

This card bulges out significantly where the shoe patch is.

I believe this has been an issue with many TTT cards.

Not a good scan, from the auction

The card itself doesn't appear corrupt or suspect, but the edges of the patch are bulging pretty bad

What say you, FCB experts?

The patch is presented so perfectly. Im not sure I have ever see a Triple Thread patch presented in nearly as perfect order as this one.

The All-Star patches all look exactly like yours.

They made every one of these cards amazingly sick.
I can't believe how little some of them sell for.

That is tough to tell...I have this one from the same year but different insert set and there is a bit of bulge on the top 2 patches. The logo is set just very slightly above the surface of the card too:

Either way it is a sweet card...let us know what you find out. Hope it was from a legit seller too...any link to the auction?? Also...whatever happened to the supposed traceable dye the card manufacturers were going to use to assist with the fraudulant selling of fake cards surfacing over the last few years? On a side note...it looks as if the two outer patches are to be from a letter or a number and the middle patch is to be from a logo. When looking at all of the auctions that were just posted you can easily see that trend in all of them. Yours appears to be a logo piece on all three so that is what worries me more than the bluges. Good luck bud.

Hmmmm.

The left patch is the top of the liberty bell, and the other two are obvious. I assumed that they all being from the logo patch was a mark towards being authentic. You disagree?

I haven't seen any that feature the player's team patch. All of the All-Star patches came from All-Star jerseys. Take that for what you will, but all of the rest I have seen have been from the All-Star logo ("national" or "american") on the front of the jersey or from the all-star logo tag.

Now that I've seen your scan, I can't picture where a Phillies logo would be on the All-Star jersey.

I just can't see what would possibly inspire someone to fake one of these cards.
Every single one that I've ever seen already has ridiculously sick patches in it.

I only disagree the authenticity because none of the other patches of that insert set I have seen have been all logos...I am by far no expert whatsoever, just giving you my opinion ;) :D

Team logos are on the shoulder. It's the work out Jersey if real (there is a black mesh jersey stitched to the logo on the left patch)

And it's worthwhile faking because it sold

You guys got me worried now.

Haha...no prob man, just didn't want you to take it the wrong way  Thats the only thing both great and horrible about triple threads...you will see some of the SICKEST patches ever in all years of that product, but there are soooo many to be had its tough to tell what is from Topps vs. what is "made" by those ********** that have to manipulate both product and consumer to get an easy penny.
