Yeah well this board is not known for a lot of IP autographing so I don't expect much more from y'all. I already know Jeff's feelings towards it so it is what it is. But it's not a bad hobby and anyone who has a hobby ought to be level headed enough not to bash another hobby. Yes some of the graphers take it a bit far but nothing in this story hinted of that. If I lived in Florida and thought I had a shot, I'd be right there with them. Nothing to be ashamed of at all.
I find it comical that some people on this board think less of people who get IP autographs when the reality of it all is we all collect, buy, sell and trade Sports cards. Like someone else said, I find it absurd to go sit in the woods for hours waiting for some animal to cross my path so I can shoot it. I wish I had more time to do IP autographs, much nicer to own something IP than store bought. But then again how easily I forget how perfect some of you are. :benson:
Some members have 10.000 + posts on a trading card board yet want to judge how others should spend their free time.
Why are they freaks? Because they're diehard autograph collectors and fans of Jeter?http://www.nytimes.com/2013/02/08/sports/baseball/jeter-fans-line-up-shut-up-and-wait.html

Just shows how there are a lot of die hard Jeter fans out there! Will definitely be a hofer when all is said and done!
Sadly the majority are dealers, some are real classy and send kids to do their business work. I seen and adult once get an autograph from Mariano turn around and try to sell the signed ball to a child's father after MO drove away. Why? Cause his kid was crying (he was 3 and didnt fully understand) because he didnt get a ball. But dont worry he offered to sell it $20 less than ebay, because you know he is a class act.
