Do you view Brian's Pujols patch autos as good investments?

I honestly thing the Ichiro and Pujols cards look amazing. Im thinking about buying a Pujols for my PC. As for an investment, since most collectors know these cards have "real" parts of a game used jersey I think they will increase in value.

I have to side with allstars on this one. Pretty sure he knows what his customers want after being in business as long as he says he has. Are you really profiting off a product that he knows will sit on a shelf and collect dust? He knows that he would have to mark down the stuff before moving it. I'm not bashing Leaf here, but Walmart has already seen the non licensed stuff sitting on their shelves. There is a reason the Sage and Leaf blasters from this year are marked down 40%

I'm not discounting his ability to stay in business, but he has definitively said the choice to keep certin products from his customers is his choice, not theirs. Either way, I think this is just another example of arguing for the sake of arguing (even on my part) so I am done. I wish allstar well and mean no disrespect towards him. I just understand a sellers business a bit differently than he.

Yes you can have an opinion, but just because you can type it doesn't make it right . BG

Take the high road. Responding only brings you down to the other persons level.

You have no idea who I am or what I do, all the while ignoring the actual point.

You distribute wares to a specific client base out of a single location, I am a territiory sales rep for the entire eastern board of the united states for my respective field supplying dozens of locations and responsible for 500 million in sales yearly. Do I have product thats my 'go to' stuff? Sure, but do I keep a complete open book to any and all product/vendors for the benefit of my customers? Absolutely, one would be foolishly limiting their profits by no doing so. If I heard any of my store opperators or local distributors talking, and worse acting, in a limited nature such as yours they would be replaced.

Sorry Mat. If you have a boss, collect a paycheck, get benefits. Insurance , sick days, vacation time, days off etc as part of your immensely important job, you have no idea what I do. With all due respect of course.

As for staying inbusiness, I thank God every day thatI'm able to survive in this industry. You have noideas of the challenges facing a small business owner these days. If your business plan is built around giving your customers every conceivable choice possible merchandise wise, your business is doomed from the get-go. You will never satisfyevery person thAt walks in, no matter what you do. The trick is to satisfy most of them.

Not that it matters, but since it is becoming fun to point out your erronious assumptions, I ran a very sucessful business for 10 years and this is the reason I was offered the oppertunity to excell at the next level, including all the benefits and liberties (and more) you describe. But, and again with all due respect, keep on doing the same exact thing you have done for 22 years...

Oh I plan on it. When you love what you do as much as I do, there is no next level.

Peace out.

Actually, leaf fb draft blasters had better sell through than any football draft blaster in 5 years!!!

Walmart has been overjoyed with our sell through.. It's your beloved topps that sells thru at a very weak rate..

The only reason out product ever gets marked down is that we do not accept returns.. BG

Couple of things, first some great news...

I have been telling myself not to buy anything else, but I was really wanting to complete the rainbow of 1996 Select Certified cards. Well today, for some reason I decided to check Beckett Marketplace and found the last one - the Artist's Proof card. I got it for less than 10 delivered. So, hopefully it'll be here soon.

Second, it might just be that the guy was lazy and didn't feel like scanning in his own card but this auction 2001 Sweet Spot Auto is using the same exact photo from the auction that I recently won. In fact he is using the exact same description. Hopefully he's just extremely lazy and has no imagination to create his own listings. Just a heads up, maybe(hopefully) nothing.

Oh, as far as the card you're talking about Roy...I wish...

Bruce

Then you clearly aren't resistant to change.

You should check out return to ravnica. Its a great set that reminds players of the old days.

If I had anyone around that still played, I would. Used to play competitively until about 2004. Haven't played in years.
