That's a plain blue jacket over a denim shirt. The "piece" is from a pair of jeans.
Thanks for playing. Oh, and they were given to the Salvation Army a long time ago.
The fact that you're acting serious and getting defensive about this is hilarious. I'm just busting your balls.
Oh, and that Bowman cap in your sig.... that actually looks like denim.

Actually, I'm as serious as you are. Figured I'd set the record straight, anyway. And the cap is polyester.

And who says there aren't geeks on baseball card message boards?

As long as that definition includes those with an unhealthy obsession with logos and licensing, then yes there certainly are. Got no problem with being called that, but you definitely fit the definition as well, to the tenth power. Not to mention being a condescending ***** besides.

And as long as I'm being addressed, I will respond. Call that unhealthy all you want, but we know better.

This is an odd thing to say as Bowman wouldn't be healthy without its exclusive special licensing and logos for better or worse.

But its fair to say those with the most unhealthy obsessions among us tend to bump their own threads non-stop.

((I saw you added this part afterwards.))

Unhealthy... maybe. Smart? Probably not as it makes you easy to bait and a target.

But it doesn't matter. If you don't like the idea of being called a baseball card geek or understand what this means then I kinda feel sorry for you here, but to each his own I guess.

Just got done burning mine. Had just picked up some more the other day too. I am always so far behind.

And jaypers, you should have your card come with no logo, just to throw a wrench in things.
Also, one autod sir jaypers to gmsieb, for me to chase. Or "Jaypers, I'm kinda a bid deal" id want one of those 2

Meanwhile, back at the thread.

My one and only Puig card (2013 Bowman Top 100 refractor) was turned in to Beckett in Houston this weekend, on 20-day service. Hopefully it gets back to me after he sets the NL on fire and shortly before he does something incredibly stupid or injures himself.

And now I wish I still had 76 of the Valiant Stars base cards. And I thought I was making bank selling them for $15-20 a pop.

Only thing I have left of Puig is whatever is sitting inside of my Bowman cases.

The Leaf cards will take a tremendous plummet once his first Topps/Bowman autos are released. Same with the non auto chrome inserts. Sell, Mortimer, Sell.

Yep, according to MLBN, Dodgers tweeted it about 20 minutes ago.

Could be one of many big-name Call-ups coming throughout the League...

or big name signings. a ****load of vets have been released by exercising their June 1st opt-outs when not brought up to a big league roster.

as for puig, I think the Dodgers forgot to tell him to stay low-key. I saw a report that he was spotted in street clothes outside of AT&T Park so it appears he might have taken in a Giants game on his way to L.A.

Can't wait to see how he does but I figure I'll be seeing him in an Isotopes uniform in about a month for him to get more seasoning.

The stadium that the AA Chattanooga Lookouts (Dodgers) play at is also called AT&T Field so that's what that was referring to. I'll be more than happy if Puig hits around .275 with .350 OBP and say .500 slugging.

Puig just got a hit in his first ML at bat. Swung at a low and outside pitch and hit a bloop single to left .

Puig just threw a runner out at first base from the warning track to end the game.
He caught a flyball at the wall, then threw a laser to first to nail the runner trying to get back. Double play to win it.
Then he did a curtain call for the screaming fans.
What a Major League debut!
