Honestly...I wouldn't even trust them for authentication. Basically if I don't obtain it from somebody I trust who actually had Mantle signed the item...I'll never own a Mantle auto short of pulling one out of a pack. Even then...

Supposedly there was a Ruth/Cobb/2 other guys quad auto out of UD that was speculated to not be real. Think about it though...UD has the same places we do to buy these things from. While I'd like to think(even though I know I'd be more than dead wrong) that they try to go with only certified authentic items from reputable companies and auction houses...even those are suspect and that doesn't even take into consideration the plenty of shady ones out there. You are only paying for an opinion of an item and a person's opinion does not always = fact. I have seen some less than stellar Bagwells that made their way through PSA and JSA.
