I love the kid but with Stanton's arrival expected soon he just isn't needed here.

I am way more concerned about Maybin. I don't know where all his tools went. Very upset that he hasn't really translated at all at the big league level. Thought Coghlan could be a nice player, thought Maybin could be an allstar.

I'll give him the entire season then pass judgment. That's enough of a sample size to judge. If he sucks, screw him and trade him. If not, give him one more season. They traded too much to give up on him now

Stanton is being called up next week. He's getting demoted since the Marlins haven't given up on Maybin yet.

I'm not too sure they are going to demote a guy who was ROY last year and on the hottest streak in the MLB in the last 10 games.
He has raised his average from .212 to .257 in that span. That's very impressive at this point in the season.
