Thoughts on Kyle Skipworth ...

May start to dabble with the Marlins young catcher. Just wondering what all of you prospectors think of him ?

I'm a Marlins fan. I hate him.

I have a few high end USA cards of him and think he has a chance to be decent. He's been a bit disappointing so far.

I'd personally pass until he shows something, anything this year. He's been a zero for parts of 2 years now. If he doesn't hit soon he's a non-prospect

I disagree with all the haters. Skipworth showed decent defense and the ability to toss out runners. You also can't consider his stint at Greensboro a failure. The guy was 18 and showed power there in a short amount of AB's. While last year was disappointing, some guys just take longer to adjust.

Wouldn't be shocked with a turn around since he is young BUT I'm sure Marlins hoping things change soon
