Ok here's the thing. To properly judge your team you have to explain how your league is set up. In a vacuum your team looks way too dependant on unproven commodities in the youthful players.
We need to know:
how many teams? 10 teams
how many players are actually started? 1 C, 1 1B, 1 2B, 1 3B, 1 SS, 1 DH (any positions), 3 OFs, 4 SPs, 1 RP
daily or weekly transactions? Weekly vs. 1 oppenent
how long can you keep a player under your control? no limit
do you use a salary cap? no
is it 5x5? if not what catagories do you use? Standard scoring, 1 pt single, 2 pts 2B, 4 HR, 1 SB, -1 KO, 1 BB, 8 W, -4 L, 6 Save...some bonus' for complete games and/or shutouts
head to head or rotisserie? h2h
are all of the players in MLB available or play? we can pick up players in the minors as long as they have been drafted the previous year. For example, no one can pick up anyone drafted in June 2010 until our league draft in 2011.
do you only use MLB accumulated stats and not MILB? just MLB stats....we get nothing for players in the minors

Answer these questions and I'd be happy to give you an honest evaluation of your team.
Joe

Hey I went back and reread all of your posts about this subject. The only thing u answered there was its 12 team and ur starting lineup.
Fill in all the rest of the blanks in a reply to my questions so theyre all in one place.

Looking at it again...3 years into rebuilding? What did it look like before this "rebuilding" process?

This looks more like a first year of rebuilding when such a small portion of the roster is truly MLB ready.

Is this a joke?

More than 25% of your 40 man roster hasn't even played in the majors yet?

Is one of the fantasy stats Ebay closing prices for your players' rookie cards, or are you actively trying to finish dead last?

Kind of what I was thinking.

i don't think you realize just how bad the team was.

Do you realize that I can keep 40 players EVERY year? I only start 9 batters, 4 SPs and 1 RP. That's 14 players, what is the big deal if I have 10-12 all star caliber minor leaguers that will be much better than crappy players riding my bench that will never start either way?

My opinion of your team is that you need some help. A mixed league that doesn't start, MI, CI, extra OF's, or an extra C and only the amount of pitchers you use is actually kinda a thin league.

I think your team is too young, and too dependant on guys who are not conistent performers.

All of your position players are under 26 with an exception or 2. I would try to package some of your excess youngsters to fortify some positions with players who are a bit matured (read: reliably consistent over a 3 year trend)

All of your infielders are question marks except Tulo, the other 3 all have various questions, (injury, opportunity, rebound?)

Pitching is too reliant on kids who have had inconsistent track records so far and aren't players who will help you with the CP/ Shutout bonuses really.

Closers ..Although they have been consistent in years past keep in mind roughly 35% closer turnover every year.
So for me that being your most "solid" position worries me.

Your scoring isn't standard but the fact that you do not use average, nor OPS (although the way you have the points rewarded for offensive stats almost creates an OPS like cumulative), could help you.

Offensively SO's will be a very tough catagory for you.

There are some bright spots and with a bit of work you can be competitive this year, more realisticialy your team is better for 2012-2014 as currently constructed.
