I got what I needed. Thank you for helping!

I will make a brand new sparkly, shiny, glorious thread with my results. I forgot a picture taking device, well, except for my phone, so if I could get those onto a computer somehow :?

Next time I do a hockey 'graph, I will pick out a slightly better item. We were supposed to have gotten severe weather on Sunday, so that trashed my need to go anywhere (didn't get more than a sprinkle ::facepalm:: )

Might have to buy a case of pucks for short notice signings.

Re: What to get signed?

a North Stars puck will be a great idea. I would imagine you would be able to find one at a local sporting goods store or your LCS.

maybe a Team USA puck or 8x10 if you can find one on short notice.

I like it when guys will sign something odd for their sport. Like maybe have him sign a major league baseball. Just a thought.

Re: What to get signed?

Have him sign your arm with tattoo ink and have a certified tattoo artist make it permanent. :o

But anyways, like mentioned above, check out any local sporting goods store like Dick's, Dunham's, etc., and you'll find a puck.

Do you have a decent printer? I'd do a custom card and have him sign it. Nothing beats having a true one of a kind item signed by a player, especially if you can design it yourself.

Sweet spot mlb baseball with 1980 USA gold inscription. That would be sweet.

Ty for the replies. I might try to look for some NHL pucks to get signed, I just don't know if I can find some official ones.

Do they have official pucks at Dunham's by chance?
It would be easier to pick up a phone to call them and ask ;) . Even if the others do/don't, yours could be different.

That's true :D

I think they are closed, but I might call them in the morning and road trip over there. If not, I can come up with something North Stars, or take Miracle on Ice to him.

Re: What to get signed?

Was able to grab 2 generic pucks for $1.50 a piece. Not what I was really wanting, but they will work.
