Thread From Me To Minnesota Twins & Detroit Tigers Fans!!!!

After the long process of the Tigers loss finally setting in, I figured I would make a thread for Twins & Fellow Tigers fans.

Twins Fans:

I would first like to say Congrats to you guys, Your team played amazing baseball.... They played every game like it was there last and played with a great amount of heart and soul.

I gained alot of respect for you guys and I am amazed at what your team did without Morneau.... I think you guys could give the Yanks a real run for their money if your pitching comes through! I know I will be rooting for you guys to pull off the upset.

Either way you guys had a great season and I wish you all the best.

Tigers Fans:

What a bad taste this end to the season leaves in your mouth, it was just horrible and would have been better if they lost the division early in June then Game #163..... Some major changes need to be addressed and I think that starts with making a strong push for Chone Figgins if he remains a FA.... Possibly even go after a guy with power say Adam Dunn? I don't know if they have the cash available but make a push for a real legit 9th inning guy in Jose Valverde.

Yes Rodney was good this year but I like him as a 7-8th guy, I don't agree with Leyland letting him go so long.... But the tigers had there chances and failed, Inge was hit but what is done is done and I guess get used to it because it seems calls get missed like this every year.

I guess it's another wait until next year.... Will the fans continue to show up in good numbers? I hope so but who knows with how the economy is.... in a city hard hit like Detroit.

If they get it going early I see the fans still showing up.... Hard way to end a season but us Tigers fans were cheering those boys on all year.

I hate reading tigers.com message board, it will really bring you down as a Tigers fan if you read that junk, so many downers on the teams official site.

Sure I am disappointed but I am not gonna become a Yankee fan because of it .

There are a number of things that will improve the Tigers next year. Getting various players healthy, Carlos Guillen, Brandon Inge, Joel Zumaya, etc. will improve the team without necessarily having to bring in new players. That said, I think the Tigers are short a starter, a late-inning reliever and a table setter (Granderson should be moved down in the order).
