Good to hear from you! Pop in more often!!!!Good morning - just popped in to say Hello to all the old timers. Was feeling a bit nostalgic for the old BMB days recently. Back when the internet was not as monetized and we had a group on Beckett that was always out there helping one another with collecting. I still can't believe that "The Smelly Ol' Man" sent me a Ted Williams signed ball that he acquired. Also, nice to see Dano still here. I haven't sent a TTM in ages, but I still have a nice collection of index cards, most of whom are no longer with us. I just recently picked up my Cooper Flagg lottery ticket to bust just for fun which is the first sports wax I broke in a long time.
Several years back, I switched from sports cards to MTG cards and actually ended up playing the game. It was actually nice to use the cards I opened and have fun with them. I still play semi-competively and it is nice being known as the "old man" now when I go to tournaments.
don't miss doing "oil dry" 40 lb bags =had to put on hand trucks in trailer go thru warehouse and stack -- you rotated places =stacker / hauler / stacker .Finally got them on pallets . Then went to work for toilet paper company most was fork lift work .Morning all. Going to be spending some time in the warehouse today. Our robotic stacker broke down, so it's back to hand stacking. We told the warehouse manager to let us know, and we'd rotate out when the guys need a break. When i first started, it was all hand stacking, but we were set up for it. Now we aren't really set up for it, so it's a bit of a pain.
Thankfully, we are on 50 lb bags right now. 100 lb bags would be awful with our current set up and trying to hand stack. The worst is when we do 50 kg (110 lbs). That extra 10 lbs sucks.don't miss doing "oil dry" 40 lb bags =had to put on hand trucks in trailer go thru warehouse and stack -- you rotated places =stacker / hauler / stacker .Finally got them on pallets . At this point, does it even make that big a difference?Tucker to the Dodgers…![]()
God I hope not, I pray we don’t overpay for Bellinger because we lost out on Tucker, but if we do sign him, I pray I’m wrong, lol.At this point, does it even make that big a difference?
Nobody happier than Bellinger, who probably made $30-40 Million off Tucker's deal.
Sounds like Mets-Yanks bidding war, with Mets leading...
