Woke up early = went thru 5000 count box of Braves pulled out 20 packs of 30 plus players .I will do more . one kids day at stadium those will be gone .I will do a lot of smaller packs for kids days - so many don't have much $$$$ . I stock up cards $1.00 --packs $2 or $3 . Also take my regular items . Always need girls in sports --I give those away to girls . You know you've been doing this a long time when you get a mother saying I gave her cards and now her daughter.
AAHH couple weeks son gets married . At least they have a home where they live . Baseball team he plays with are a bunch of crazies --G/F's and wives are SHARP --looking forward to POOL scenery LOL.

Morning all! Rough morning at our house. Bennett had to go in early for bloodwork. We've found over the last year that it's a lot easier to do it at 6 AM when there isn't a waiting room full of people waiting at the lab. Get him in and out. He still doesn't take too kindly to the needles, which I don't blame the poor kid. I'm a grown man and I don't like shots or getting blood drawn either.

No one is crazy enough to like needles for blood. I have terrible veins. They always have to go digging for my veins.

NEVER liked needles --had a xxxxx years ago that would scare kids with needle . I still see that NOW --- After 5 operations I still hate . One nurse said i looked like a road map with all my scars . Now they take blood before probing / prodding issue area . Once you have a major blockage expect issues .

When first went to Denver for the kidney specialist, they drew blood there and you couldn't even tell. He watched them put the needle in his arm. No screaming or crying. He just watched them draw the blood and you wouldn't have even known it had happened. But ever since then, he's gone once week for a couple of months, every two weeks, and now we are at once a month, and he absolutely hates it. That first time gave us hope that it was going to be that easy all the time.

When I was a kid the doctor was taking my blood for one reason or another and tried to distract me by saying “your shoes untied”, I stared right at him and said, no it’s not, while he took the blood. Both him and my mom got a good laugh out of it
