I was lucky enough to get an Ichiro Patch card from Andrew's break. Serial 6/10. I deal mostly in prospects so I really don't have an idea on value. I couldn't find anything similar on ebay so I am just curious for anyone that deals in non-prospects cards what they could determine the value at.

Ichiro has always been my favorite player, but his cards were well out of reach for me to just hang onto in my PC. I am probably going to PC this card, but would like to get a value to put to the card.

Thanks all. Card is in my sig.

Haha. Crap, that doesn't even cover the break! ;)

Thanks.

I just saw there was one on ebay. Not sure how I missed that last night. Up to $265 already. Pretty cool. Takes the sting away when I sold my 2001 Bowman Chrome Gold Refractor Ichiro many years ago.

Watch this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2012-Topps-Tier-one-Ichiro-Prodigious-Patches-Limited-Jumbo-Logo-Patch-10-10-/160831609402?pt=US_Baseball&hash=item25724f9a3a

I'd say that in a "normal" world then these would go for less than the Leaf jumbo patch/autos. New product, nice colors in the patch and lack of an auto should land you around $550 - $650 (just a guess).

Thanks. I just saw the one on ebay before you posted it. In your opinion, do you think a card like this because it is a new product will lose value over time? Since I am a prospector I typically buy/sell so I am not used to keeping cards in my PC for an extended period of time.

I personally would sell now and if you really wanted one, pick it up in a few months for much less than what they are going for now.

With a PR of 10 and crazy patches the value should hold on most of these. Like the 09 UD Patches the Superstars will be impossible to find in 6 months.

Nice. Thanks for all the replies. Sounds like it may be a PC card, unless I can sell for a decent chunk and buy an autograph that I always wanted. Having a determinable piece of the H & I makes it pretty cool as well.

Thanks again for the feedback.

I had three different Ichiro jumbo patches from Sterling /10 at one time. If you are going to sell do it now! I know I sold two of them to DaveYou, he might remember prices but I know the first one that I had and didn't sell to Dave I sold for WAY more than the two to Dave. Pretty sure there is scans of them in my Gone section of my bucket so you can see what kind of patches they had. Either way it's a sweet card to have in the PC or to make some quick cash on.

One more thing, if you do decide to sell now. List it with a BIN/BO and try and beat out the one at auction. You always want to try and be the first sale on a card like this.

I'm guessing close to $1K

Close to 1K would never hold in value his jumbo patch autos were going for $750-$850. I would not be surprised at all if it went $500-$600 because there are a lot of Ichiro collectors but if I was buying one I wouldn't want to be over $400.

You're right it was the Leaf and yes Topps sells more than Leaf, but the Hank Aaron from last year the jumbo patch sold for $665 and just recently $685, those were the last two sales. I don't think Ichiro goes as high as Hank honestly
