Following the Tigers during the offseason and during spring training, everyone was basically saying Leyland would be out of Detroit if he didn't get them deep into the playoffs again this year. Looks like having the team headed in the right direction was enough for the Tigers.
I think he's a great manager. He knows what he's doing and manages the right way. He's very aggressive which makes games exciting to watch and he makes his players play hard all the time. What more can you ask of a manager?
