I saw this card pop-up and I had to snag it. It was the card that I was chasing very heavily in 2010. I was able to pick it up for about the price of Jumbo and Hobby Box box combined.

Strasburg was drafted #1 on this day, 2009 and made his MLB nearly 1-year later, to the day.

What do you think this card sells for back then?

Ironically, he's pitching better than ever now.

It's hard to remember numbers from back then (to get a feel) but IIRC maybe $4,000-$5,000?

Agreed. As long as he can stay healthy, the Nats are playing are some great ball, so hopefully he can help take them into a deep run in September.

You guys remember that purple ref which had a black line cross the card which sold for a crazy amount although it was a bad factory defect?

Sent from my SM-G950U using Freedom Card Board mobile app

I believe this exact card sold for $7700 in 2010.

It's the 1/5.
