Another bad outing for John Smoltz. How much longer will he last in the rotation, especially when Wake comes back?

Hopefully that was his last start for a while. Maybe Bowden can get a start before Wakefield comes back.

Where are the people blasting Frank Wren for letting him walk now? I'm not rooting against Smoltz in the least, but it's not like much was to be expected from the guy. Glad Frankie saw that.

I wasn't mad they let him go, just the way they did it.

I love the Braves pitching rotation, it is the best in baseball.

I was at the game today....he didn't look too good. :(

Maybe once Wake comes back Buchholz will stay in the rotation and Smoltz will not.

I mean, I like Smoltz and think he is a great pitcher....he can still strike out a lot of batters! But he is very hittable, and does get into a lot of trouble from it.

Time to trade some prospects and get Halladay.

Why? The Sox have SO MUCH pitching depth it's not even funny! ::facepalm::
