Well I am a little dissappointed as the package I was waiting for to send to all of you will not be coming. I had ordered some specially engraved keychains from my dad's friend that reads "FCB 1000th member Contest WINNER!" and he assured me they would be here by Christmas so I held off on mailing out the freebies until then. Well yesterday I got the bad news that he had some technical difficulties in making them so it has been axed. Packages will start rolling out this week, probably around Thursday or Friday at the latest for the first round. There are a TON of them to go out so it may take several days to get them all boxed up and shipped. Sorry for the delay. I was trying to do something nice for all of you above just giving away cards but oh well. You can't win em all

I'm sure he can. Actually these were gonna be cut out of metal. It was a lazer engraved kinda thing made at a machine shop my dad's friend works at. I will try again in the future.

Cool beans, that is what I work on at my job but in a bigger scale for making parts for medium wheel loaders.

I always thought they would just use the pressurized sand water cutting machine but my dad's buddy told him it was called a PLAZ or something like that? Anyway, it broke down and he had to scrap for parts and they wouldn't be in for a while.

Yes it is called a Plazma cutter and it uses gas to cut the parts and they can be a bitch some times

Again the one I use is a dual head and is much bigger then this one

Anyway I'm sure those would have been nice since it cut real neat stuff
A laser cutter is a better cut but takes to long in my opinion, plasma is faster but can be a rough cut sometimes

I'll have to show you what my keychain looks like that was cut from the one at a shop near here. Its pretty cool and would have turned out great if it had worked.

Thanks for the update, that keychain idea was a good one though....stuff happens. Thanks for trying to get those anyway, that is well above and beyond.
