I'm heavily considering buying a 1993 Pinnacle Joe Dimaggio Auto, but I want to know if the autographs are still sharp after 16 years, or if they have faded some over time. Any help would be much appreciated, Jim.

I've bought a tin. I wouldn't say they are SHARP. They are a bit faded but still very strong and you can see the auto clearly.

Ive seen several of them over the years and for the most part they are still very strong but as mentioned I wouldnt consider them perfectly sharp.

If you didn't already know, I think D&A still sells them cheap, I think about $150/tin.

There were many available at the National to certain dealers. I guess someone had a whole stash of them via the "Pinnacle warehouse" so don't pay too much for one. I have heard from a secondary source that someone bought several sets at less than $90 apiece...they are all legit.

I think they're a fantastic deal. I own several of them and although they are cheaper than any of the other Dimaggio autos I own, I still like them as much as any of the other standard ones. Clean design, nice look to them. I may even pick some more of these up in the near future.

Hurry up, I am starting to see them all over the place with cut autos in new products.

Pretty soon the only way you will be able to get one is for $400 cut up in a new product ::facepalm::

Are they a little bit bigger than a standard card? Anybody found a good way to store/display them? I want to get one, but am not sure the best way to protect it, while simultaneously showing it off.

I just bought a tin at the chicago sun times for 120. I think the auto looks good. For display I plan on sending it in to be slabbed authentic in one of the group submissions once I see they are operating more efficiently.

I thought about "slabbing" it with BGS at the ECN but decided against it at the last minute. I've kept it in the tin for now...
