Talk about a beat down. Penn got stomped. That's one of the most extended beat downs I've seen in a while.

On a side note, Jon Jones is definitely someone to keep an eye on in the future.

I gotta say I am disappointed in BJ Penn.

I know he took one Hell of an ass beating that 4th round, but to not even come out puts a bad taste in my mouth.

I just don't like it when fighters quit.

Lost one fight I picked, and that was the Bonner fight. But he has so much heart.

And I am glad that Fitch won. I would have rather seen that fight on the main card than two of the ones that were on there.

My friend was over and hes a huge Penn fan, the look of disappointment on his face said it all, later followed by "what a b*tch".

That was a serious beat down. Overall the night was average. Most of the fights weren't that exciting. Most of the fights went the distance without any real shots or good submission attempts. I'm not sure if it was the fighters being evenly matched, or the styles being similar and canceling out. I don't know, but it was overall from top to bottom less exciting than last week. I guess when every fights is either a submission or ko it has to be though.

Especially after basically calling out others for what he just did himself. I guess it wasn't tapping out from blows, but it's essentially the same.

Just a side note to the growing popularity of MMA. It's the lead story on ESPN.com right now. Pretty good considering it's Super Bowl weekend.

As big a fan as I am of GSP (MY FAVORITE)...I still wanted to see a strong performance from Penn.

GSP improves faster by the fight than any fighter in mma that I have ever seen.

I think what stands out the most is his wrestling and ability to get through the guard...wow!

Glad to see him still champ, he is a class act!

 Um... NO.

Let's see him face someone worth a **** like Rampage or Rashad.

Seriously, let's not crown the guy just yet..

Rampage is my favorite fighter.

That said I'll wager $100 on Machida against either.

Of course you would. That said, best of luck. You'll need it.

Whatever that means.

You're one of those guys that needs everything spelled out huh?

Yes. So if you could find someone who isn't clueless to spell it out I'd appreciate it.

It means that it doesn't matter what your disclaimer is, *****..* Go look up disclaimer in the argumentative stance, I don't want to lose you right out of the gate.

Got it?

Ok here goes: It doesn't matter who your "favorite" fighter is, Jax/Evans/Griffin/Shogun >>> Machida. The best of luck statement was for the extra hours you'll have to crank out at the burger joint you're working at to make up the money you lost on a moronic bet.

Check back in when this saturates in that nugget of yours. ;)
