Tonight's Game Recap.

Instead of making an entirely new post, I decided to edit this one.

We arrived at the stadium and got tickets. We were lucky, they had about 5 left (minus general admission) and they were in the section we wanted, right above the home dugout.

We headed over to the opposing dugout to get Lorenzen. We thought we found him, and yelled "MICHAEL!" "He" waved back (probably didn't know what we were doing :lol: ). We couldn't find "him" after that, and one of the players walked out so we asked him. Apparently, Lorenzen was with team USA (I think) :? Oops.

So we went to our seats. Watched the game (we were in direct foul ball territory, but yet none came).

Game was good, ended up being a walk-off for us. It was long... we got a runner on third and I wanted to go home so I wasn't exactly thrilled when he scored, but then we put another guy on and ended up scoring.

Afterwords, we hung out in the bullpen waiting for the team. We got an almost complete team signed ball and program. About 3 players snuck past our little gathering, but most of the players were thrilled to sign and chat.

EDIT: I want to explain the cow video. That was just a 1-time promo and they don't do it every game. It was AG night so there were the cows, FREE CORN (WOOT WOOT WOOT!) and a couple pieces of AG equipment on hand.

Good luck, he is the one guy I saw that I really wanted to see and meet in the Northwoods league but he didn't come to Madison because they play in the other division.

Thanks! I was going to go to every game he was here but it didn't work. I wanted to make at least one game. Hopefully we can get good seats because it gets packed at the end of the season, have some brats and a Mountain Dew and enjoy the game.

This is hard... they changed the field. my buddy wants to do it but couldn't get him to sign. Not giving up, we wll get him.

I believe the only game photos were of Henkenmeyer. I had some on my phone but it won't upload them.

You can probably figure out who this pic is for... I saw this in the program. It's a list of former NWLers now in the Majors.

Can't have mine :lol: It's signed by too many people.

If you want one, I may be going back to finish off my team signed items. I can grab you one as long as you reimburse me for it (only like a buck or so). You may do some checking with the other Minnesotans and Wisconsinites here to see if their programs have them. I doubt Thunder Bay has one that nice because (via one of their fans) the owners are kinda cheap.

I may be out of town (I am going to try to stay to make the games) so you might be able to send an email to the team and ask for one. I am sure they will send one out after the season is over.

I counted it up, and I have 21 signatures. 1 is the assistant coach, and another is the bullpen catcher :lol: That's roughly 2/3rds of the team. There is one signature I can't make out. What I plan to do is if I am able to go to the game on Saturday, I am going to try and finish it.

Also, something interesting... Our seating was marked by stickers on the bar you see in front of me in the vids.

I found one of those that had blown off in the bullpen, so now I own "a piece" of the stadium. Kinda cool.

It depends. If you want to sit front row behind the plate, $8. We sat in $10 seating (which is the most expensive "normal" seating). They have grandstands and cheap seating for $5 and $3. They have 2 levels of group seating, and one "luxury box" for $75, you get a plate of Green Mill food and get to sit in a silly little box.

It differs by teams though.

I forgot... one last video. This is Sean Dwyer. Since Lorenzen wasn't there, he got the official title of "Top Prospect in the Game" in my opinion. He was drafted in 2010 in the 15th round. He got a really good offer but he wanted to continue his education. He's a pretty cool guy.

I know the camera work is bad. I still don't have my video camera back and I am really upset at the people who borrowed it. I didn't have a stand so it was pretty shaky.
