I check against the master spreadsheet so no big deal if there happens to be a dupe. Some great pitching performances keep getting knocked out of the top 50.

Yeah always hate to knock off Gibson and Pedro, but we can't cherry pick the results..:) Here's a couple more:

Harvey Haddix 38.33 Points in 1959

5/26-6/2: 21.2IP 9H 0ER 3BB 14K

Mr. Jeff 'Most F's in a Name Ever' Pfeffer 43 Score in 1917

8/31-9/4: 25IP 9H 1ER 1BB 10K

A couple good ones drop off the list.

49. 36.5 Sandy Koufax (July 7 & 12, 1963) 18 IP, 6 H, 0 ER, 2 BB, 17 K
50. 36.5 Steve Carlton (Aug 29 & Sep 3, 1982) 18 IP, 5 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, 23 K

And Pfeffer (who?) breaks into the Top 5.

LOL I told you I had no rhyme or reason as to how I'm looking these guys up! He had 2 consecutive seasons with 6 SHO, figured that would give him a good chance to make the top 50.

He wasn't in the master, so I missed it if it was posted.

I don't think we'd be able to find anyone that could beat the four game stretch that Perry put together.
