I just don't see how the 89 UD Griffey doesn't make this list. I would argue the 01 BC Pujols auto should slide in there as well. Those are the only two modern cards I can think of that should be in.

While the Sosa and McGwire cards may have been iconic at one point, they are no longer. Iconic must stand the test of time.

89 Griffey is iconic.

1914 Cracker Jack Joe Jackson
1954 Aaron
1933 Goudey Red Background Ruth
1948 Leaf Jackie Robinson
1968 3D Clemente
1989 Griffey
2001 BC Pujols
1990 NNOF Thomas

This would be my list RIGHT NOW top 10. 10 years ago maybe the 85 McGwire and 90 Sosa were on the list but not anymore.

I would Add in the 2005 Ruth Jumbo only because of the shear size of the jersey (never before and probably never will be another jumbo) and the Controvery surrounding the jersey that was cut up to put in it.

Honorable mentions (For modern cards): 1999 Upper Deck A piece of History Babe Ruth (His First Bat card) and 2001 Sp legendary Cuts Shoeless Joe Jackson bat card. Although those 2 may be more Historic than Iconic.
