Topps announces the player redeemable for the 2009 Topps Baseball Series 2 RED HOT ROOKIE Redemption # 6 is Neftali Feliz, Pitcher, Texas Rangers. (image attached)



Throughout the remainder of the 2009 Major League Baseball season, Topps will announce the subjects for the 10-card RED HOT ROOKIE program. Each Topps Series 2 Hobby Box includes (1) RED HOT ROOKIE Redemption, which can be redeemed online at www.topps.com/redemption.

However, duplicates can and have occurred.

With that said, hopefully we hear about Finest #6 soon. It's been a while since #5 was announced.

I've debated doing a second set (so I could flip it when they all come in and then get a Beckham AU). My copies of all of these so far:

F. Martinez - 3, 1 redeemed
G. Beckham - 3, all redeemed (no AU)
A. McCutchen - 2, 1 redeemed
T. Hanson - 3, 1 redeemed
N. Reimold - 1, redeemed
N. Feliz - 3, 1 redeemed
7 - 2, 1 redeemed
8 - 1, redeemed
9 - 1, redeemed
10 - 3, 1 redeemed

I guess Feliz should make me a little happy. :lol: ::facepalm:: Maybe I can swap a Feliz for one of those I need for the set #2, but at least it's decent.

Not as lucky as I did with Hanson anyways. :evil:

My advice. I wouldnt do it. I completed the set last year with duplicates of many of the cards. I had 43 cards and it took FOREVER for them to produce the cards and even longer to recieve the autos. Jay Bruce FINALLY arrived just a few weeks ago.... right when he got injured ::facepalm:: It was fun completing the set..... but took too long to get all the cards.

I know, still got two Bruce's. I got the time and it's not something I buy, just trade for so no big loss.
