Topps Archives Signature Series Milestone - How Many Do You Have?

I've accumulated a lot of these.

At first I swore off 2016.
Then I decided to get 2016s that didn't have 2015 issues
Then I started getting some of the 2016s that I have the 2015 version in (mainly from my childhood years).

I am now a part of the 40/40 club (LOL!) 40+ from 2015 and 40 from 2016, including incoming - all of which are different.

That got me curious. How many of you have been hitting these hard for your collection and how many do you have? Is it all of one player, or several?

Here is my collection of them (minus the 2 I have incoming which I haven't scanned yet.)

Thankfully Daulton was only in 2016. I've picked up most of what I've seen, including 2 "1 of 1". I don't have a picture right now because the house has been worked on the last 2 months and I have everything packed away.

I did pick up a Tom Gordon and Kent Tekulve from this year, and I have a handful of Kruk and Dykstra from last year. I still need to get a Schilling from 2016.

I think I'm only up to about 30 of Edgar for 2016 and I have about 10 for 2015..

A lot across 2015 and 2016, mostly Garvey of course. However, I have picked up a few others that caught my eye including other Dodgers, Mariners and even a Biggio /2 that was a great action shot. I'd have to go back and count them, but I may be in the 40/40 club myself.

Wow, impressive!!! My favorites (besides the Yankees autos) are the little sets I remeber from my childhood. The K-bee toys, k-mart sets, and the bazookas. Those all rock!

I only did about 10 last year and 2 this year. If I knew the were using O'neill again this year I would only own about 5 of these all together.

I've only acquired these and likely won't buy anything else from this release no matter the year.

I generally keep all cards I buy as singles, but I am not married to it. I'd want to replace it at minimum with an equally appealing Biggio certified auto if I were to deal it.

Donut. I almost went after a couple Thomases because they were cheaper this year, but nah. But if they ever get Bake McBride or Grady Sizemore in there, I'm all over it.

Although I am envious of Mouschi's accumulation. If only they were Bakes.

I only have 29 Mariano Rivera's. But they're all 1/1's. I was against buying these when they came out last year but changed my mind after someone else bought a 1/1 Mariano! I couldn't have that happen again so I've gotten every one I've seen since. Except the 1992 Bowman which the seller would not budge off of $5000.

I just checked and Garvey has 41 different cards I have seen listed so far. That means I am not sitting at 40 for 2016 and probably didn't have that many last year either. I'm out of the club!

I am missing 10 of the 41 I have seen listed for sale. The numbers are 1/1, (3x) /2, (2x) /3, (2x) /6, /15 & /19. Not bad considering 18 were numbered to 10 or less. I'm guessing there are more that I have just not seen or have not been offered for sale. Who knows how many are still unopened or in collections and were not advertised (since there is no known checklist).

Haven't seen any new Olerud's show up on ebay for a long time now, so I just finished updating my Olerud checklist for these. There's a total of 82 different cards in quantities from /1 to /32. Sheesh. No way I'm going to chase all these. I probably will just pick one or two up and call it a day.
