Topps Baseball Sketch Cards on ebay!!

Hey guys,

I'm Luis Diaz and I've done sketch cards for Topps for a couple of years now
including Topps Stadium Club Baseball, Updates & Highlights, Topps Baseball
and NBA Hardwood Basketball.

I just got back a few cards from Topps and are up on ebay.

spam ceases to become unacceptable when its an entity closely tied to the subject matter of the board.


If you were to spam your ebay auctions, that would be unacceptable.

If topps were to come on here talking about their product and point you to where they are selling it, that would be welcome and encouraged.

Mr. Diaz falls in the same category as topps, as would Brian Kong, or any other sketch card artist that is distributed in a major brand.

I actually pulled a Pedro Martinez out of Updates and Highlights and could not figure out who the artist was.
I googled for a while and finally gave up! I ended up selling it on Ebay because I am not a Pedro fan, so now I am going to search for any Cardinals and Cubs cards you may have done. You have some of the better sketch cards out there. I can actually make out the players without guessing the entire roster from a team.

Hey guys and thanks for welcoming me.

Mike (I'm not sure what his screen name), showed me this forum and asked me
to post here. We've had a good dialogue back and forth and I decided
to post my current work. I've done literally more than several thousand
sketch cards for all kinds of things and I am especially proud of the
work I've done for the Baseball and Basketball line for Topps. We have
a good relationship and except to work with them for a while. I have also
been a major artist for their other line of cards including Terminator: Salvation,
Garbage Pail kids and Wacky Packages. I'm a full time painter and work
on my own personal art for galleries.

I welcome commissions and other ideas. I also do portraits of people and their

Those were my first sketch cards. I think I did over 200 in pencil and later I lowered my count to 100 and painted them all. I'm signing my name "Diaz" these days for that same issue. My "D" is saved for my other work.
