I thought it might be nice to keep a running thread of what we all get from redeeming. I haven't pulled any yet, but I will probably pick up a blaster or two this coming week.

I got three 1959 cards, Clyde Conner 49er, Preston Carpenter Browns, Ken Panfil Chicago Cardinals, a 1960 Marion Campbell Eagle, a 1969 Paul Martha Steeler, two 1976 cards Joe Thiesmann and Lions Checklist. And about 15- 80s, 90's and 2000s cards.

Only have 3

Just used 1
Moe Williams 04'

Was hoping it would be like the baseball and the first few days release tons of older stuff to drive up hype, but judging from what's been released lately on the front page it doesn't seem to be the case.

Ugliness...10 cards of absolute garbage. Nothing older than '88 and nothing more than a quarter.

Hmm...50+ cents to redeem each? I'll pass and simply throw $7 off my balcony.

I have 20 unused cards, and may get more. What do you guys think, is this worth even trying to redeem. The first 5 i did were complete 80s and 90 junk worth from 15 to 30 or 50c max. I did trade one junker for a Ray Lewis but other then that debating on just selling them all and walking away. My only draw is the chance for auto memorabilia..... I would really love to hit one.

What do you think?

Keep an eye out on the Giveaway homepage and keep checking the recently unlocked post, contrary to what Topps says(its completely random, no 'runs' of certain years) when 50's cards show as recently unlocked, start redeeming. Its what I did and got 6 cards from the 50's out of a group of 15 I was redeeming at that time.

22 cards redeemed and total garbage.

You have to remember that before 1970 they only produced about 250 cards per set with a lot of sets having less than 150 cards. It's not like baseball where you were getting almost 500 cards per set evenly across the board. From about '73 to '78 there was about as many cards total as from '56 up to that point in '73.
