So they can put a fake patch on it and make some extra money.

Bad idea from Topps. If you're giving something out for free like this, they better make them a little different than the cards with the patch or fakers will do their faking.

I could be wrong but I assume the logoman is printed on the card and there is no "hole" for a fake patch to be inserted.
