Pete Runnels 1952

I guess it's a 1952 card so I guess it's vintage, so I guess I should be happy! lol

I'm pretty sure he was a batting champion at least once, so nice card.

Yup, 2 batting titles (1960 and 1962) and was voted into the Red Sox Hall of Fame in 2004! :D

How can you tell what cards you got? I just entered 2 codes and after each one all that pops up is a "close detail" window, but I can't figure out what I got.

Wait it out the site is getting hammered. I had one code take 10 mins then I also had it where I had 6-7 go in super fast. The white box that pops up should picture the card you got and the name above "close detail".

I need that 61 Topps World Series card if you want to move it. I have slowly been working on that set.

Does anyone have details on how much the "small" shipping fee is?

2.92 for the first card and .53 for each card after that

I can hold onto Juan for now, I suppose. My train of thought (and it could be wrong) was that there are several 74 Marichals on ebay, not seeing any action at a 99 cent opening bid.

At that point, it's not worthwhile to have the card shipped out and I didn't imagine that I'd be able to trade it for anything that would be. I'm not big into virtual card holdings so it has zero value in my portfolio.

I guess if it doesn't attract any interest in the coming weeks, I can always ship it over to you later.

bouwob said:
You should keep the marichal. You should be able to trade it for something you want, specifically if you are a player collector.

As for the other 2, if you want to donate them to the site go ahead. When ever I feel that the poll is decided, I likely will be trading non year cards for year cards after approval from the members.
