I think you have to add the cards to your trade list for them to appear in the trades search, so more than likely there are many more that have not been added to the trade list.

The following appears on the trade search screen:

"NOTE: You can only trade cards that have been unlocked."

I really wish there was more info available for this. I just found at least 20 very low-end cards I'd like to own,
but as I said before, If they are not embossed or stamped, what's the point?

correct, I was looking at all the cards redeemed this morning before the site went down for maintenance.

At that point there had been 128 1952 cards redeemed and 6400+ 1987 cards. Looked at 2003 and it said nothing found.

Also saw in 2002, there had been 2 Enos Slughter Heritage autos pulled so far.

This is gonna be so addicting

As of a few seconds ago, there were 292 2003 cards in the database, including my Eli Marrero.

To get people to swamp a website that earns them hits. There is no point for the collector beyond winning the lottery with it.

I completely agree Charlie. If these were embossed, it would make the chase so much more enjoyable.

They advertise that these are one of one collectibles from the Topps vaults, yet without any notation that these are from the Topps Million Card Giveaway they are simply one of hundreds of thousands.

That's kind of what I'm thinking at this point. All the cards I would actually want are .10 cent commons.

I know I said this before, but the more I think about, the more this seems just like buying scratch-offs from the gas station.
People are paying a $1 plus per code hoping to hit it big, all under the guise of a sweepstakes.

Seems pretty effed up to me.

Of interest, so far there have been 367 1987 Pete Rose cards redeemed.

How did you find that out? Is that searchable.
Just go in the trade module and do a search for cards you want. Only cards that have been redeemed so far are able to be searched.

Also of interest, the following Mantles have been redeemed...
- 1956
- 1958 All-Star x3
- 1962 highlight
- 1963
- 1966 x2
- 1969
- 2006
- 2007
- 2008

One of my buddies is one of the ones that got the Mantle 58 All Star

I too would like to know if these are marked in some way. There are seven Darryl Kile cards I'd like if they are. If they aren't, then I already own them

No they don't advertise them as "one-of-one" collectibles from the Topps vaults.

They said that they bought back all of these cards.

Why would you want these embossed? Imagine if you pulled a 1953 Topps Mantle - you'd want that embossed?

Direct from the http://www.toppscards.com/CustomerService/AboutUs.aspx

"The Cards are original Series 1 and Series 2 cards produced between 1952 and 2009. There are no reprints in the cards. Each and every card available is a one-of-a-kind original from our vaults."

So I guess "one of one" was incorrect, I should have wrote "one of a kind."

While running my code, I noticed there were a couple of cards that didn't exist. It'll be interesting to see which cards weren't scanned / included.

Care to elaborate?

I can't really elaborate yet.

I just know that some directories contain less than the required amount of files if every card was in there. Topps seems to have added 'A' to the dir structure of some of 'em, but I'm still getting missing files.

Once I get a chance to look through it, I'll elaborate.

This is what my jeter auto shows, do you mean like this? If you notice on the bottom some of the 99 cosigners are not named or scanned. Maybe you can use this info to look deeper into it.

amazing - 135 1952s have been redeemed, among them a very nice proportion of high numbers including Jackie Robinson and Roy Campanella. I can't imagine the thrill that would come over me to find out I just 'won' either of those cards, although I've already got a Campy. Additionally, the Jackie is listed as 312B. I was unaware of a variation existing for that card - anyone have an additional info on that? Eddie Mathews has been redeemed, too - wow.
