I would say it is certainly within the realm of possibility, although it would be foolish on their part.

I can say, with near certainty, that 10's of 1,000's of these will never even get redeemed, and that 1,000's
more will never be requested to be shipped because they are worth exponentially less than what s&h cost.

Remotely possible. Not the smartest thing to do from a legal perspective. Not to mention from a practical standpoint, it would probably be hard (not impossible, but not as easy as going to target for some fabulous blasters of 88 topps packs) for topps to acquire say the pafko after the fact.

Do yourself a favor and if you get any nice cards WRITE on the redemption card what you pulled. They think they are cute when you call asking "what was your code" when I told the guy hold on I wrote on that card he went "ohh ok" in a disheartening tone. They are assuming you will throw them in a pile and then they dont have to help.

Nice lot, Jen. My guess is that you'll be ending somewhere in the $250ish range. You may have done better to list them in 10-20 ct. lots. They seem to be brining in the $2.50-3.50 range per card in that size lot.

I got:

120 redemptions

I am:

Too bored to enter all of those codes into topps to collect 120 1980s cards that would cost me way more to ship then they’d sell for and wouldn’t result in any fabulous trade offers

So I will get:

$160 and counting http://cgi.ebay.com/2010-Topps-Million- ... 58861a4556

True, but when I listed them a few days ago, they were still fetching $1/card, so it didn’t seem worth it to list them out in 10-20 ct lots then.

For those who have redeemed/traded so far.

Do you have to have a card in your portfolio in order for someone to trade a card to you?

Yes, you cannot just transfer cards into someone else's account without a trade occurring.

328 1952's so far....with new ones including Mathews, Robinson and Campanella!

Lots of dupes though...so there goes my theory!
