This hobby has never been about money for me. It's about collectibility.

Keeping that in mind, why the hell would I want a bunch more 88-92 Topps commons,
that were in no way differentiated from the original release?

The money issue is funny also, because that is the sole reason Topps is doing this. All
this does is add another chase element to encourage people to buy more product.

For me personally, it is barely a step above those shatty 1952 pack chase or Ruth chase boxes.

To be fair, who said this whole promotion is all about you?? Twelve year old kids would probably enjoy cards made ten years before they were born. Again, most people know zilch about cards.

So far I've only picked up two redemptions?

Case rippers are selling these in bulk and were getting between $1-2
