Topps Opening Day 2009?

I checked our three wax sponsors, and saw nothing on their websites, and
google showed nothing conclusive, as did topps.com

anyone know for sure if they are putting this set out this year?

from what i have heard, i dont think they are releasing opening day this year
it is kind of a waste of a product and i assume topps thinks they can make more money with a different product

Well, that would be a shame, to me at least.

i realize that its not "popular", but its a hell of a lot more collectible then the base set (especially since they pump out 8-10 different FACTORY Set versions of it nowadays lol)
