Did you ever hear back from him about what he's going to do with the marbles?

Wow this thread is back from the grave - never did hear what happened with these but am still very interested in the Lankford! I doubt they got borken up and sold on EBay as my regular Lankford searches would have caught it.

Agreed!! Would love to know what that guy decided to do with them all. He really should have sold with so many player collectors asking about them. Wonder if he's just worried about getting the most he can for them. Gracecollector, did you send him an email recently???

Still waiting to hear about adding a McGwire. Maybe the guy underestimated the buying power of Gracecollector's friends.

Those were the marbles from 1991, they aren't worth much. The Proshooters this guy has are really rare, basically a test issue like the 1989 Topps Heads Up. Here is a listing for the common 1991 ones.

LOL, of course, what are the odds i might have had something.

Man I seen a bag of about 75 to 100 (along with some other types of marbles) of these at a goodwill 3 years ago. I should have bought them. A lot of them were like the ones boomo posted though so may not have been that great

A thread back from the dead!

I never did hear back after my first two emails with the guy who contacted me who said he had two boxes of these. He did send me photo proof that he had them in his second email, but after that he didn't respond to any emails. Don't know what he ever did with them. I've seen a few come up for auction in the last two years, and some original wrappers.

I was happy to add the checklist card #1 with Grace on it in 2012! I have it ranked as the #3 hardest Grace card in my collection.
