Dammit, I love the look of these things so much and was hoping just one of them would be Romero, Cecil, or Rzepczynski. Ah, well.

Chris Coghlan fans do. That's just a guess.

I think it's more anti-climactic than anything else. Alot of hype for the "guaranteed" auto in the set and it's Coghlan Base. No Porcello, Tillman etc. Good player, but can't live up to the hype of that slot in the set IMO

Agree, kind of a let down for a #10.

Very cool picture though.

Coghlan has been a top 10 rookie this year.

That may be, but I think generally people are looking for these sets to go out with a bang, like the Finest redemption #10 being an autographed Tommy Hanson or like in 2007 when Finest #10 was an auto'd Joba. So even though Coghlan is definitely a good player, this card didn't quadruple in value today based on this announcement.

With the players that could have been chosen, this is a disappointing selection. Could have been saved a bit with an autograph. Still a nice photo.

If only Topps cared about secondary market value. Or, on the other hand, prices matched player production.

In a perfect world, it would be the latter.

...and I'd be rolling in money right now. Man, reality sucks.
