Topps redemption replacement Jose Batista for Matt Latos

So i got the same Bautista and Cashner and my Museum Collection replacement was an 2011 Topps Adrian Gonzalez auto relic /50. I'm pretty ticked. Granted Adrian is a much better player than Latos but still, three sticker autos from regular Topps? I've never had any issues with Topps replacements before, can I call them? Will they do anything?

You say...I sent in three redemptions for on-card autos from high-end products, and you sent me three sticker autos from your base brand.

Why do people act like topps is some untouchable company up on high?

They are a pimple on the ass of most BIG companies.

No, you calmly tell them your stance. I recently received a BS replacement, I wrote them a letter, told them what type of item would be acceptable, and I returned the replacements with my letter.......I received a card within my requested wish list........Topps uses Beckett BV so keep that in mind.

Not worth the hassle for me. The Bautista books for 40 and the two Latos books for 35 combined. I rather have one better card than two cards that don't even equal the better card's value.

I'll probably use the Cashner auto as a door stopper or drink coaster.

Not trying to sound like a middle school bully trying to take a kid's lunch is a good place to start...

George laid it out well. Tell them your situation, what you sent and what you received in return, explain to them why you are unhappy with what they sent you and request that they replace it with options more suitable/closer in collector value to what you sent in. What's the worst they'll say? No? It's worth a shot and it sounds like it worked out well for George.

Call and write them a letter, if you are not happy you don't need to accept their replacement offering. They can't use BV to defend their replacement and if you are rationale they will fix this.......that is my experience.

Does the Gonzalez look like this one? If so the last one got $55. How much was the Latos?

Can't see the picture but saw that the one they sent me last sold for $55. That's around what the Latos cost me but I would think that the Latos has gone up in value since then. I've thought about just selling what they sent me and using the funds for 2012 Bowman singles but was kinda hoping they would send me a nice on card auto that I would want to keep.

I called and they said to go ahead and send in the replacements with a list of players or teams you would want. I'm going to esentially ask for on card autos from stars(Halladay, Longoria, Castro, etc) saying that I wouldn't mind the rarity of the MC auto being replaced by a star greater than Latos. Also mentioned that I wouldn't mind if they grouped all three of my redemptions and sent me one nicer card. Hopefully they send something I would want to keep in the PC like the Latos MC auto would have been.
