How is this sell sheet any different than a car dealer that runs weekly adds featuring Chevy, Ford, Toyota, etc. Vehicle Images?

i have read all 9 pages. here i my thought on this. when i first saw Leaf 2010 i thought WOW! Donruss/Leaf was back. then i was looking at the product and saw no licensing whatsoever. what ticked me off was the bait and switch tactic. that logo they use is the very same as the 90 leaf product that came out on the 90 leaf cards right down to the color! look at a box of 90 leaf. Topps wins, Leaf is done big time. look at the logo on this 92 Leaf card. Topps will use this also to show that the Now Leaf just uses what ever means possible to sell product. Leaf/Donruss are no longer.Topps is still here so you can not infringe on a still copyrighted product.

Remember these cards? 1994 Sports Edition. they were sued by baseball and the players union for copy right infringement.gone in a heart beat!

Ugh, I had to read this 3 times to figure out what you're saying and I still have no clue. I know its a message board on the internet, but if you're going to attempt to bash a company at least put together a articulate post. That was just painful to read.

No you don't. why don't you open a fast food burger joint with golden arches and call it McDowell's and see how long you last.

To summarize page 9 if you really have no clue you really shouldn't talk like you do.

You wouldn't.

But if McDonalds went out of business and you purchased the rights to their name & logo you could reopen a new McDonalds chain.

I like Volkswagens, I have restored a 1964 Beetle, and while I was doing that I found out that a shop that I used to get parts had to change their name. Reason being is because Volkswagen of America (VWoA) sued them for copyright infringements. VWoA has copyrights on a ton of VW related things like "VW", "BEETLE", "BUG", "DELUX", and many many more. The company used to be happily named Bugs For You and it was a parts house,it is now named BFY. My point is, even though they made these cars a million years ago (like 1952 Topps) I think they still hold some rights to them.

This is just my best guess as to where they are going with this. No flaming needed.

thats nice they have the rights. why make it look like the 90 product logo with NO MLB or MLBPA license. they made it out to look like a product that it is not.

IT IS THE SAME COMPANY!! One went under and when the rights were purchased it came back as the same company.

Not only does Leaf = Leaf, but is UD not UD just because it doesn't have the licensing it once had? There have been all sorts of licensing changes over the past several years, none of that changes the validity of the companies logos and existence.
